Searching

There are two (2) methods available for searching the library catalog. The first one is SIMPLE SEARCH,which is the simplest method for searching the catalog. The user enters any keyword, either it is contained in titles, authors name or subjects. You can supply more than one keyword in Simple Search and it will expand your search results.

ADVANCED SEARCH, enables the user to define keywords in more specific fields. If you want to search for items using only the title field, then type your keyword in Title field and the system will scope the search only on Title field, not in other fields. Location field lets you narrow search results by specific location, so that only items that exists in selected locations get fetched by system.
